Porsche 911T1973 ½CIS

First Generation 911.Beautifully Maintained & Documented.Low 78,450 miles!

A three owner car.Originally sold to an Eastman Co. engineer in Kingsport, TN in 1973. True to his profession he was meticulous in his maintenance and documentation process for 32 years. He retired to Stuart, FL and eventually sold the car to his Porsche mechanic. As a Porsche mechanic he kept his car well maintained and accounted for all service performed on the car for the 2 years that he owned it.He carried on in the same fashion as the original owner. The current owner in Asheville, NC bought the car in 2007 and has owned it for 10 years. He too understands the significance of the car and has all service performed by one of the top Porsche mechanics in the country with over 50 years of experience. The last ten years of service is included in the 278 page binder showing everything that has been done to the car to keep it in the wonderful condition it is today.Total miles are very low for 44 year old car at 78,450 miles.

The steering wheel was upgraded with a beautiful Leva Duell wheel and the ugly 73 bumper extensions removed to a 72 standard. Both the original extensions and steering wheel are stored and will convey. In 2014 the front seats were re-bolstered with Porsche cushioning material for a firmer feel.

The 1973.5 is one of the best years for early 911s because this was the year the 2.4 liter 6 was incorporated with a K-Jetronic (CIS)_ Bosch fuel injection system. Due to the additional power, a stronger transmission with a more traditional 5 speed "H" pattern was also added.Historic wins at Daytona, Sebring and Nurburgring with the "S" version of this car made racing history and placed Porsche on track for many more wins in the following years.

-No one can deny this is a World Class Icon only available to a few.
