Description:

1982 Porsche 924

This car is all original, complete, rust free and is in excellent condition. Everything on the car works and it runs great. When I say complete I mean complete note the toolkit photo with the air compressor to inflate the spare.
4 cylinder 1984cc Bosch fuel injected engine, manual 5 speed transmission. To the best of my knowledge factory options include; Air Conditioning, Blaupunkt sound system (which has been replaced with a Pioneer sound system), Cast Aluminum Mesh Wheels, Rear Spoiler, Power Windows, Power Mirrors, Rear Window Defrost and Factory Alarm System. Full cloth car cover (not factory).
Here is what I've done to her since I have had her, 2005:
Battery - April 2016
New coil, rebuilt distributor (installed a new Hall Effect rotor and Sender assembly) and Fuel Pump Relay - July 2015
Tinted Windows, Replaced A/C condenser and retrofitted for R134a refrigerant, New Radiator Temperature sensor for electric fans, timing belt, spark plugs and wires, water pump and hoses - June 2012, 60,150 miles
New Muffler - May 2012, 60,100 miles
New Tires, Firestone Firehawk GT, Weltmeister Control Arm bushings, front and rear inner/outer wheel bearings, ball joints, Monroe front struts - May 2011, 60,000 miles
I am the second/third owner inherited from my father in 2005 who purchased it in 1987 from the original owner, a serviceman Army or Air Force I'm not sure. . .I digress sorry, who purchased it in Germany and brought it back to the states. (See the photo of the Warranty and Maintenance Manual)I don't know how the original owner treated it but since she has been in our family she has been, for all practical purposes, a garage queen.
I say "for all practical purposes, a garage queen," but she does have 62,000 miles on her and in those miles she has received a couple door dings and rock chips and the front valance has a couple dents. The paint is original to the best of my knowledge except for the passenger front fender and the cowl, some jackass keyed it and stole the badge in a parking lot in 1988, The dash has the standard issue Porsche 924 cracks, and the seats have some tears (see the photos).
NADA says she's worth $6625 (Low), $8,200 (Average) and $11,100(High). Hagerty says $6100 (Good), $10,200 (Excellent) and $14,000 (Concourse). Concourse she is not, Excellent arguable.
