You want to go fast on the track?? This is your car. Track ready 944 Turbo, with ~230-300 bhp and many upgrades. Original build was $11,000, with $15,000 of further replacements and upgrades. Car being sold as driver has moved over to endurance racing with a team car. The original plan for this car was a HPDE prepped track car that is easy to turn into an (SP2) full race car. Was never been raced, only used in HPDE, and never had any metal on metal contact. Owner drove it to and the from the track, as is still street legal (no trailer required). Specs: 1987 Porsche 944 Turbo –Engine was replaced with an engine with roughly 100k miles on it a few years ago. It has had little time run since then (estimated 3-4 HPDE events per year over 3 years). Over time added/replaced ~ $15,000 of parts/equipment, including: new rod bearings, waterpump, timing belt, clutch, new K26/8 turbo (replaced when the engine was replaced), electronic boost controller with 2 settings, low and high boost at about 11psi and 15psi, good for ~230-300 bhp. Added Sparco Evo Seats, Schroth Harness, Professionally built ¾ Rollbar. Factory Limited Slip added. Gutted interior and dash for light weight. Hawk Brake pads. SPEC 944 Suspension (koni shocks with front coil over conversion and 350lb springs, 30mm rear torsion bars, weltmeister sway bars) and power steering removed. Upgraded with Rothsport quick release steering wheel hub with momo wheel. Separate set of 17″ D90 wheels (5 included). Upgraded to add Rennline adjustable pedals. No warranty. Simple tweaks to get to full race car status (fire suppression system and complete the roll cage), or great opportunity to buy a track ready car, with thousands of upgrades.
