This Porsche 914 is a true survivor! it has its original paint,original interior and original engine/transmission. Nothing has been changed except the tires. It is a original 13,500 mile 914 and most likely the lowest mileaged, most original 914 in existence! It also has its original factory Air Conditioning that works perfect. It also has the appearance package which includes center console,gauges and fog lights. It also has rear defogger. If you are either a Porsche collector or just want one of the most original 914's this is the one for sure! I am passionate of these 914's as i have been collecting them for many many years- I can tell you this is the best running driving stock 914 i have ever had. Exterior: The paint on this 914 is all original-all panels,bumpers, and trim are also original. I used a paint meter gauge to measure thickness and they are exactly to factory originality- I have all measurements to verify. The paint is in exceptional condition with great gloss- rock chips have been professionally touched up. All glass including windshield are original and are like new. This 914 came with standard painted bumpers as chrome was a option. All exterior lights are original and work perfect. All hood and trunk gaps open and close with ease and have perfect gaps. The wheels are the standard ones and are also original to this 914.
Interior: The interior is all original and absolutely like new- nothing has been changed-The dash is perfectly straight and has no cracks-Every gauge is accurate and work as they should. Every instrument lights up and are bright. Center console again is like new. Carpets are original and there are no stains or wear to them The original radio sounds horrible but does work. factory Air conditioning surprisingly blows strong and very cold- i have never seen a all original interior as nice as this not even close!
Engine/Mechanics: 13,500 original miles this 914 runs like it is new! it starts right up,no smoke and idles perfect. It goes into all gears with ease including reverse. there is absolutely no hesitation on acceleration as injected 914's were intended. No rattles or vibrations at high speeds. There are new valve cover gaskets and there is absolutely no leaks. The original exhaust system is still on the car and is in great shape. New brakes pads,new fluid changes and new tires make this porsche 914 ready for that journey.
Car comes with Original Targa roof, tool kit, owners manual, jack,spare, receipts and car cover.
History: Car was a one owner car that was purchased from the daughter. Original state was Connecticut. Her father used it to commute locally for the first 2 years and was put away after he passed-she would start it from time to time and not drive it-914's are truly great cars to drive! Ask any 914 owner and they will agree how much fun they have. I actually prefer driving a 914 more they a 911 as they are more nimble and feel more in touch with the road-also the fact they are a true mid-engine car. This 914 is ready for the show circuit and i am confident will win any survivor class. I have a passion for Porsches especially 914's !
