This is your chance to buy this nice 912. This car is a driver, ot a showcar. This 912 was imported from the USA (arizona) about 10 years ago.
Body: It doesn't look like it was ever in any accident. It seems like no major bodywork has been done on it. It has really solid floors, uarters and fenders. No rust on the car. Original color is ivory white. At the moment, he paint isn't perfect but looks decent for a car that old. The paint shines nice but has some orange peel. The engine bay and the inside of the doors were painted black. It has some inperfection and paintchips. Most of the molding were not removed when it was painted so they have a bit of overspray.I would rate the paint 5/10. The chrome trims need to be redone since they were painted at some point. The car is missing some logos. The front and rear trims on the bumpers are missing. Lights are working.
Interior:It has 5 gauges cluster and radio (working). Original seats are included in the sale, hey are cores and need restoration. Right now the car has 2 random seats installed. The steering wheel is an aftermarket one. The headliner is in good shape. Driver side door handle is in poor condition but both door cards are correct. Rear seats are decent. The ignition switch is broken and a push start button has been installed for the starter (The key has to be on ''ON'' to start it).
DrivetrainThe engine is the correct 68' 4 cylinders with 4 speed transmission. I don't have any maintenance bill or proof of rebuild. It runs amazing, tart up everytimes and does not smoke. The transmission shifts well. The clutch works good. It doesn't make any weird noises. The engine could use a clean up but otherwise I don't think you'll have to spend much money on it.
Brake suspension and wheels:Brake works but we have no maintenance bills telling when it was done the last time. Suspension shocks do not leak but seem to be a bit worn. I recomand to have the suspension check since it seems to have old shocks on it. The car is sitting on 4 15x6 Fuchs wheels in good condition. Tires are brand new Goodyear. Handbrake does work.
