I bought it and drove it for 2 years and put 10,000 miles on it until the transmission faile, so i parked it in the garage telling myself i will get around to it later just didn't know it would be 22 years later ! THE PROS & CONS .....PRO This car was stored in a real nice garage no moisture or mic, so the car has no odor at all . She still has all her original paint and decals .... She was factory ordered by the original owner who i got to talk to and get a brief history of the car . he started customizing it right away by installing air shocks and a staggered set of appliance Diamag wheels. years later he stuck in a posi rear axle out of a 1977 Trans am that was wrecked . He also swapped out the 350 for the 400 6.6 out of the same 1977 Trans am that the axle was pulled from . . I Just installed a new Multicase 350 Turbo transmission with a mild shift kit ....it bolts up to Pontiac or Chevy . New oil pump ..New oil pan gasket ..New fuel pump ..New belts .. New alternator ..New water pump ..New hoses / everything .. New 3 core aluminum radiator ..New valve cover gaskets and valley pan rubber grommet ..New Cap rotor plugs and all fluids ..New exhaust manifold gaskets + new bolts ..New timing chain and gear /double roller .. New front rotors and bearing, ,New brake lines complete front to rear steel and rubber / ..New upper and lower ball joints ..New upper and lower control arm bushings ..New tie rods left & right + drag bar ..New front sway bar bushings PS this car has the larger sized sway bars front and rear .. New poly body mount bushings from energy suspension ..New front and rear Monroe shocks .. New rear wheel cylinders /drums turned and all new hardware + pads ..New front calipers and pads ..... What needs to be finished before its road ready ... She needs sway bar end links / Exhaust from headers back / front end alignment / Tires front and back they are dry rotted / front window ...its cracked / some of the gauges and under dash wires need hooked back up . She is about 93% ready for the road just needs a little TLC to finish her off . The car runs strong !! I have a good amount of paper work for her + the original build sheet in very good condition. . .........CONS.. After sitting for so long in the garage she has acquired quite a few dings and scratches ...from thing falling on it like rake handles and people sitting stuff on it like its a table ... She will need a new paint job and a little bit of body work . Phoenix Graphics makes the proper decals in the triple orange so that's a plus ! the interior will need some work also ...The upper door panels are crappy / dash has cracks /the metal corners have the typical rust like most get + i have the pieces that i cut off another car for patch panels.... seats need recovered ect ect everything else is nice ! she has 2 small holes on driver side where i test fit a TA flair to see what it would look like . The car has some lower tail panel rust but not that bad and a little bit on the pass side in front of rear tire but that is all .... PRO The floor pans are perfect + trunk and frame rails rust free !! front subframe looks like new rockers are rust free/ bottom of doors rust free / core support is super nice ....If you are looking for a resto project this car is for you ...she has a good foundatio, or you could just finished the small stuff and cruise her FEEL FREE TO ASK ANY QUESTIONS !!
