This is a real deal 242 VIN 1966 Pontiac GTO Convertible that is powered by Pontiacs famous 389 CUI V8 engine with a 4-speed manual transmission. The transmission shifts easily and the torquey 389 pulls it around with the kind of enthusiasm you'd expect from a GTO with dual exhaust. Mechanically this car is very sound, the brakes steering and transmission all function as they are supposed to. With only 94,204 miles on the car, the rebuilt engine was refreshed with ceramic heads, gaskets, and seals and a full clean up to be ready for show, and it runs great - this is not your run-of-the-mill trailer queen. The exterior of this car is straight and solid. There are no rust issues and the car still wears its original factory fenders with all the correct stampings. The frame is solid with no issues.
