1979 Pontiac Trans Am

41,630 miles. Very clean, unabused southern car. 1 owner for 19 years in Naples Florida, then it moved to North Carolina.
EXTERIOR: Exceptionally nice body. No rust or damage. Look down either side and there are no door dings. It is even smooth all along the bottom, no bubbles. Everything fits real good including the spoilers. Repainted 1 time in it's original Solar Gold color. Has a very glossy clear coat finish polished out nicer then factory. It does not have the typical stone chips. Decals are fresh. The shaker hood scoop is unmolested, not cut or drilled. Rubber bumpers are in excellent shape. It has the better looking, wide snowflake wheels and BFG tires and they are in excellent shape. Weatherstrips are excellent, window seals on top off the doors are new. Door jambs are real clean.
INTERIOR: Overall very tidy and clean inside. Carpet looks new. Door panels, armrests and upholstery are excellent. The trim on the seats, kick panels and rear speaker tray area is tidy. Instrument panel is very good. Has full set of factory rally gauges. Clock works. Formula wheel is mint. Headliner has 3 small holes. Has modern stereo and 6x9 speakers in back.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: 400 6.6 motor runs smooth. Very tidy, proper and complete. The air cleaner assembly is complete with snorkels and hoses. New wiper motor, the squirters are all hooked up. Fan, shroud and overflow is complete. Has insulation under the hood. The motor is clean, has original chrome valve covers. The factory air conditioning has been updated with R134 freon. Has power steering and brakes.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Spotless under the mat, has original mat. Original paint under the lid and jambs, original weatherstrip. Jack is mounted up where it is supposed to be, has original collapsible spare.
UNDERSIDE: Very clean original condition. It features the WS-6 handling package which includes 4 wheel disc brakes, stiffer springs and wider wheels. It is very dry, no rusty, not greasy. The bottom of the motor and 4-speed is clean. The floors are as dry as a chalk board. Suspension looks good, bushings are not cracked. Dual exhaust has x-pipe and splitter tips.
Very desirable 4-speed Trans Am. Tidy, proper car throughout.
