1962 Pontiac Catalina CUSTOM HARDTOP

For sale is a 1962 Pontiac Catalina hardtop. Professional body off build with attention to detail at every level. Body has subtle mods including tubbing rear section, shaving mouldings, cut/tuck bumpers, Kindig handles, recessed door locks, 2" lowering at all corners and smoothed engine bay. Painted in a striking 57 Corvette Turquoise with all chrome, stainless, and billet polished creating a stand alone contrast. Frame and under side of body finished in the same color as well as quality. Motor is a 1970 455 block bored 30 over, 10.5 compression, Edelbrock heads, Comp roller cam/components, Edelbrock intake w/ FAST fuel injection. Billet Specialites front runner with all billet/chrome pumps. Stainless steel headers w/ 3" stainless complete exhaust system. Transmission is a modified Pontiac Turbo 350 with stall convertor linked to a narrowed rebuilt original Pontiac positrac rearend with new 3.50 third member. Suspension has been modified with tubular components, lowering coil springs, gas shocks, and AGR quick ratio steering box. All fasteners are stainless steel throughout, all lines are custom bent for appearance, and custom gas tank by Rick's w/ pump handle fuel delivery. BIG 14" Wilwood disc brakes at front, 11" rear handle stopping requirements with Billet Specialites 20 x 10 and 18 x 8 wheels wrapped with B.F. Goodrich tires. Interior was designed by Eric Brockmeyer and the fine craftsmanship of Paul Atkins Interiors completed the task. Interior displays distressed leather material, custom Dakota Digital components, one off dash for Vintage Air supply vents, 64 Grand Prix bucket seats/console/console tach, swede headliner, and beautiful wool carpet. Trunk has been completed with the same level of attention housing battery, and stereo requirements. Last two pictures are Texas Motor Speedway track last year at GoodGuys.
