1968 Pontiac GTO restoration project PHS documented "BARN Find" In storage for years needs TOTAL restoration but a great starting point. This must have been some car when new! Solar Red paint, black vinyl top with redline tires, Hurst his and Hers and a rare power antenna. The roof needs rot repair around both the front and rear glass due to the vinyl top. The cowl needs some repair as well. It needs interior floors and a trunk pan. Hood is a new repop. Frame looks solid body has usual rust here and there. Still wearing some of its original Solar red paint. I am told this is the original engine by the previous owner I can't get to the vin due to the lower radiator hose and lower heater hose blocking it. It is the correct 9790071 "YS" casting which is a 1968 400 auto with 350 HP the car has an optional dual snorkel air cleaner as stated in the PHS documents. The car looks very original and unmodified under the hood. The interior is all original, the gauge cluster is in the trunk. Clear NC title NO TRADES selling because I need the space.
