1956 Pontiac 870

Rare 1956 Pontiac 870 four door wagon. Airbagged on all four corners (slambags) Two Viar compressors. 350/350 with headers, flowmasters, Front disc brakes (manual) and rear drum brakes.
Interior is the orig from 1956. (63 years old) Front seat ratty with blanket over. rear seat has one seam split. I installed new door glass and fur channels all around. the door panels just fell apart when i removed, but good for patterns with stainless intact. the right rear curve glass is cracked all rest good.
Car starts right up and runs with good oil pressure. Maintains a steady 190 degrees when warmed up. Very responsive and quick. Steering and brakes are manual. No Heater and no wiper motor. Car tracks and stops well.
Tires have good tread but have age on them.
Bags are controlled by switches in glove box area. Oil, Temp and charge gauges work. Car has a fuel cell installed and fuel sender but not hooked up. Underside side of car is clean no rust out in braces or inner rockers. floors have been panned over on top.

This car starts right up, runs and drives and stops well, has a good solid body, clear title, no smoke or funny noises,and is a jump in and go car right now! It is also fairly rare and youd be hard pressed to find another with interior basically untouched. I will do my best to satisfy inquiries of the seriously interested.If you got the itch but no scratch, are a picture collector, time waster and just bored and perusing, then please dont waste mine or your time asking for extra pics and info.
