This is a very technically correct car with only a few tasteful but easily reversible changes. The Intake, Carb, Air Cleaner and Valve Covers are obviously not originals, but the originals are boxed and come with the car. A custom audio radio was installed with blue tooth, no the dash was not cut!
The car has the Born with drivetrain that was completely rebuilt with a little bigger 068 cam, gives it a nice lope at idle! But surely not wild enough to affect Air Conditioning operation or Power Accessories (i.e., brakes.)
I purchased this car down in Kentucky as a Estate Car, the previous owner had purchased it at Barrett Jackson for $39,000 plus commission. It was sold at that time by the original family out of Scottsdale, AZ.
The restoration cost likely exceed the bid amount...by a fair stretch...absolutely no expense spared in the restoration!
The car is arrow straight and the interior looks like it was never sat in! Bondo? There is no bondo on this car!
Extensive amounts of time was put into this car to make sure "everything" works...including ice cold A/C that is fully R134A compliant.
I bought the car because...well...I collect GTO's and this is a prime example! ...everything is new and we serviced it every month for him...this car is the car that is always "dispatch ready" and very easy to drive!
Clean and clear IL title in my name! No liens, etc. I've sold several of my GTO's and 442's here on eBay and have had excellent luck...with the majority of my cars being sold via a phone call in lieu of the auction running its' course.
My # is 630-273-7595 and you can reach me at any reasonable time. I own a jet charter service among other things...and am often flying...or whatnot...please...leave me a voicemail and I'll be happy to return your call. I can assist with shipping insofar as I have a brokerage account with Central Dispatch and can get you this car faster than your wife can order Amazon!
Only qualified buyers with funds readily available to buy the car...no, I won't deal with your finance company! Wire transfer or Cashiers Check (as long as it clears before car or title leaves, I'm ok with it!)
Give me a call...lets make a deal...I'm realistic in my price.
