1955 Pontiac Safari Wagon, 1955 was the first year that the Safari Wagon was available through Pontiac. The 1955 Safari Wagon was built using shared components with the Chevrolet Nomad. The Safari Wagon is much rarer than the Nomad as it is believed that only 3760 Safari's were built for the 1955 model year. This is a numbers correct motor, the exterior is finished in the factory correct turquoise blue and white mist with a coordinating leather interior of ivory and dark blue. This car underwent a full cosmetic and mechanical restoration approximately 20 years ago and has had approximately 5000 miles put on it since completion.
