Description:

1966 Pontiac GTO

Hi, I just pulled this 1966 GTO out from behind a barn here in Ohio this week. It's a REAL GTO!
The Story Behind The Car:
The property this car was sitting on belonged to an old woman who passed away. 5 years after her death, the house, property, and car was put in the hands of the state because of unpaid taxes. The house was then sold at an auction including all that was on the property. So, to be clear, this GTODOES NOT have a TITLE. However, it is a very solid car for the age. The car is being sold as is where is without a title. Shipping is responsibility of the buyer. A bill of Sale will be included upon request. The last two pictures you see on the listing are of the car as it sat in the field by the barn.
The front two tires do not hold air. However, I have removed the brake shoes so the drums are free and turn. According to the plates, this car was last on the road in 1999. This car is also for sale locally and I reserve the right to end this listing at anytime. All questions must be asked before you bid and before the sale is complete. A $500 paypal deposit is required with 24 hours of the end of the auction. Again, this car DOES NOT include a title or official state documentation. It is being Sold As Is with no guarantees or warranties expressed or implied.
I can be contacted though the Ebay member to member messages. You can message me for my phone number. I have a LOT more pictures of the car upon request. I highly recommend coming to see the car before you bid. All sales are final. I have described the car to the best of my ability and it should be considered as a Non-Road worthy car. It does not run or move under it's own power.
Drivetrain SPECS:
389 engine code YD 290hp with 4 Barrel Carb
Automatic Trans with Hurst Shifter4 Wheel Drum Brakes
Looks like stock exhaust
Looks like stock differential (differential has tag on it)
PAYMENT PROCESS:

A $500 paypal deposit is due within 2 hours of the end of the auction. The rest of the payment must be made in CASH at the time of pickup or 5 days prior to pickup by wire transfer into my bank account. The car will not leave my home until it is paid for in full and all funds have cleared my bank.

PICK UP / SHIPPING :
The car must be picked up within 3 weeks of the end of the auction. Shipping and or transportationare the responsibility of the BUYER. I do not pay for shipping or any part of the transportation of this vehicle.
Final Notes:
I've described the car the best I can. It is best to have a professional view the car before you bid and or purchase. There is rust and rusty panels. The car will need a full restoration.
