Visually, this GTO is absolutely stunning. 100% rust-free original body panels are laser straight. All the chrome & stainless trim including emblems are show quality throughout. Open the door, and you'll find a positively stunning original white vinyl bucket seat interior that shows virtually no sign of wear at all. It is basically flawless and looks like it did in 1965. All the gauges, lights, blinkers, etc., work perfectly. However, the super-cool Delco reverb AM Radio does not work. I don't know why but just something minor I believe. (Who listens to am radio anyway) so I installed a radio/CD player/flash drive unit in the glove box (out of site of the all original look). The original three spoke sport wheel features a pristine wood rim & Pontiac Motor Division horn button and like everything else, it is perfect. Tucked neatly inside the perfectly detailed engine bay is the original numbers matching 389/360 hp engine. On top of the motor are the (3) original Rochester 2-barrel carburetors w/ original individual chrome air cleaners. The original 389/360 hp engine is linked to the original M20 Muncie 4-Speed Transmission which feeds the original 10-bolt Saf-T-Track rear end w/ the original 3.55 gears. This engine/transmission combination will snap your head back very quickly when you apply your right foot firmly to the floor. This GTO runs exceptionally strong and has loads of torque. She starts, idles, runs, drives, steers and brakes beautifully and is a BLAST to drive. The exhaust flows through a new set of cool headers & factory replacement mufflers to give the potent 389 its legendary growl. From front to back and from top to bottom, this gorgeous 1965 Pontiac GTO Tri-Power car is a winner. This is an investment grade classic muscle car in every sense of the word. With its super low mileage, numbers matching driveline, original sheet metal and extensive documentation, you will be hard pressed to find another that will compare.
