1977 Pontiac Le Mans Can Am Sport Coupe

Okay, Pontiac Can Am Fans - here is your opportunity to own a rare version of this already rare model vehicle. This is one of the few Can Ams that was made with a factory sunroof...

I bought this car from a collector in the south a few years back who did a restoration on it I think back in the 90's. When I purchased the car it ran and drove and still looked good, but the restoration was showing signs that it needed to be gone over a second time. The cars paint was starting to eggshell and or flake here and there and some other service items needed to be addressed as you might expect with a car of this age. Like the power driver's window almost went all the way down, the power seats moved a little slow, the left turn signal did not flash, cruise and CB will not turn on etc. Several minor things like that just needing to be serviced.

I put the car in storage right after I got it, thinking it was not going to be too long before I had time to give it some TLC. Fast forward to today and I'm coming to the realization that it is going to be quite a while before I have time to do this car justice and I thought that someone else may want the opportunity to bring this car back to its former glory.

I pulled it out of storage to take these pictures. It fired right up and I've been driving it pretty exclusively the last few weekends to blow off the cobwebs. It runs pretty well. Good power and shifting and stops excellent and the interior looks pretty nice too. Floors and trunk look solid and everything seems to be there including the numbers matching engine, even the space-saver spare is there and the odometer shows only 62,027 miles (which will go up as I'm enjoying driving it).

The car is in the same condition as when I bought it. It may need a repaint, but you may get away with blending sections of it if you so desire. Just driving it as is has been really enjoyable and I have had a lot of compliments.

If you have any questions, please ask before deciding to bid as it is being sold as is. Please look closely at the pics as I think they best describe the condition of the car.

I do reserve the right to end the auction early.

I accept cash at my bank, a wire transfer and a Cashier's Check is okay, but must clear my bank before the car or title is released.

A deposit of $200 is due after auction ends and full payment is due within 5 days, pick up due within 14 days. I will do my best to work with a transporter of your choice.

If the car does not sell, it is going right back to storage until I have time to work on it. So don't miss this opportunity.

Thanks for looking
