1964 Pontiac Bonneville Convertible 389 Tripower Auto Transmission Factory Tach 8-Lug Wheels I started it, you finish it. Bought this from Michigan. It was originally sold in the Pontiac Retail Store in Pontiac, MI I purchased it and used it as a daily driver for a few years. Started to bring her back to glory but she's got a bit to go.... Recent work includes the below: -New shocks and springs -Paint job in original factory color (good job but not perfect) -Painted and refreshed engine bay -Frame was rotted so I had the body transferred to another original frame I sourced. New bushings all the way around. -Brand new retro white wall tires. -Brand new brakes, refinished 8 lug wheels, and caps -Installed a 1964 approriate factory tach -Brand new dual exhaust with thrush rattlers -New gas tank, sending unit, fuel lines -Body work As I am letting her go: Included in the sale are brand new leather seat covers, carpet, convertible top and pad, rubber window and convertible top seals, new wood dash inserts, and more The Tripower carbs will need a refresh as they are running lean and occasionally have issues getting gas to the engine in steep hills.. Had these installed after purchasing them (they are refurbed original tripower carbs with progressive linkage) and the tranimission housing needs a new seal as it is leaking. As of right now the interior and top are still the originals. All trim is original and could use a refresh as well. Original intake manifold, carb, and aircleaner included in sale Over 30K invested in parts and labor in this car and I hate letting her go, but current situation is forcing my hand.
