Car is finished in correct acrylic lacquer "Q code" (Gulfstream Aqua) paint along with new correct black Cordova (vinyl) top. Interior code "82B" black vinyl bucket seats with 2+2 trim option (code 381).

Window sticker factory options include AM pushbutton Super Deluxe radio with optional rear speaker, power steering, power brakes, date coded soft ray inted glass, remote left outside fender mounted mirror, back up lamps, dash lock, inside day/nite mirror, deluxe steering wheel, deluxe wheel covers, 2 speed w/wiper motor with washer and front/rear floor mats.

Dealer installed accessories include dash mounted Pontiac Tachomete, console mounted Pontiac Vacuum gauge, and rear trunk mounted utility reel light.

This car was originally built in January 1964 in Pontiac, Michigan for Joanne and F James Sturgess and delivered to Davis Motors Pontiac in June 1964.

Mr. Sturgess was the sales manager in a GM dealership in Michigan. He traded in his '62 Tempest Lemans and factory ordered this '64 2+2 car as a full size family car, 47 years later it was professionally restored the same way Mr. Sturgess ordered it.

Frame up, very specific to detail in using all available NOS parts & authorized GM licensed parts only.

This car was restored for the Pontiac Purist as a true family car. Unmolested, unaltered from it's factory build sheet specs.
