1974 Pontiac Trans Am

For Sale a beautiful 1974 Trans Am. This car was meticulously restored then the previous owner ran out of funds to completely finish. Although its not an SD it has the 455 cu in 6.6 liter engine, new base/clear Admiralty Blue paint, and most everything is new or rebuilt. A original Nevada car that is totally rust free!
DrivetrainThe 455 is a Pontiac date code correct engine but not the original. This engine was rebuilt as was the Turbo 400 transmission and the posi-traction rear end. Motor and trans look factory new. Has power steering and power brakes that function as they should. This is an A/C car but it has not been reinstalled. All A/C components I have will come with the car.
Suspension and ExhaustAll of the suspension components were replaced in the restoration of this TA. New front coil and rear leaf springs. New shocks. New front end components. New sway bars. New urethane bushings. The correct exhaust is also brand new and sounds fantastic.
InteriorThe white seats, front and rear, were just professionally recovered. A brand new headliner was professionally installed. The original dash pad and dash are in great condition with no scratches or tears. The door panels are new and the console pad is new. The console and slap stick automatic trans shifter are very nice. Brand new carpet set. All glass is good condition. All electrical working but wipers and horn. Needs a radio.
ExteriorAs stated the paint is brand new and very nice. A new decal set was installed. New emblems. All the chrome trim is present and looks great. Bumpers and spoilers are in good aligment. The weather stripping has been completely replaced throughout the car.
UndercarriageAs stated this car is rust free. The undercarriage is not painted but is extremely clean. All original metal in great condition. See photos.
Wheels and BrakesThe Honeycomb 15" wheels have been restored and new center caps and trim rings installed. Brand new 225/60/R15 series Goodrich TA white letter tires were mounted, balanced and installed. Missing lug nuts in photos have been installed. All new front and rear brake components. New brake and fuel lines.
One of the cleanest '74 TA's out there. Just needs the right person to finish some small details to have a very valuable Trans Am. With the passing of Burt Reynolds I'm sure these already popular cars will become even more sought after.
