We sell all cars as-is, which means the buyer isresponsible for any and all repairs, according to the Ohio Buyer's Guide (includes body, mechanical, frame and interior). We do our best to describe all vehicles as accurately as possible, but keep in mind that opinions may differ and that it'sthe buyer's responsibility to inspect the car before bidding. We advise all bidders to get a third party to check out the vehicle if they can't make it out themselves to ensure their complete satisfaction. This must be done before bidding. When you view the pictures of the vehicle, make sure you look at them on a large screen to ensure that you can see all attributes of the car. If the car starts and runs onto the truck, but it does not start at arrival, that is the buyer's responsibility (cars may be damaged on a long, bouncy trip). Once the car is paid for, all buyers should put insurance on it because they now own the car. We will work with your shipper or you can call Mike, our shipper, for a rate at 970-300-1020. We leave all buyers positive feedback. All sales are final.

Thank you for looking at our classic 1966 Tempest Custom Convertible Survivor. This was a two family owned car. The miles are actual, definitely under 100K, and the title is clean. If you add it up, the car has been driven less than 2,000 miles a year. The one girl that had this car used it for school, then she just kept it forever. We bought this car through a broker that was selling it for the young lady that owned it since the early 70s. This car hasn't been driven hard. Its been babied and pampered, and it starts, runs and drives not much different than it did in 1967 when it was new. This car is so much fun to drive that once you're in it cruising around, top up or down, you don't even want to get out of it. I don't say that about a lot of cars, but I can sure say it about this one.

It has automatic with a 326 V8, power steering, manual brakes, and it's just one heck of a cruiser. The car is 100% all original, except that it was repainted in the mid-80s. Believe it or not, it still looks pretty good for being a 30-some year old paint job. The interior and the interior mats are all original. The driver's seat has a split where you first get in. We did not fix it because we want people to see the originality of the car and we're not trying to hide anything. We believe the convertible top had to be replaced since its too nice to be the original (the top is in perfect condition). It also has the original parade boot in the trunk if you want to take the time to pop the buttons. The chrome on the car is in beautiful condition, not dented or rusted and it's all original. Underneath the vehicle, the floors are solid and the frame is also 100% solid with some flaking because the car is 52 years old. If you want to take the time to sandblast it and recoat it, it would definitely last another 52 years as long as it's not driven in bad weather. Again, it's an easy fix, but we wanted to show an original car not covered up with rustproofing to hide anything underneath the car. You know you're buying a clean frame, not something that may have been fixed or hidden.

The trunk on the car is clean, as seen in the pictures. The engine compartment also is in good shape. We cleaned it up a little, but the valve covers are original with original paint that has some peeling paint, which is normal for a 52 year old car. My suggestion is to put chrome valve covers on, because it would actually make the engine look a lot nicer than what it is. But as I said before, we made no changes, just like the previous two owners and it's all original. The power top works, but it could probably use a little more fluid to work a little better, which we did not add. There was an aftermarket radio that slid underneath the dash, but it did not come with the car, so if you wanted to buy an inexpensive radio and have it installed, there is a place to put it under the dash. I did show receipts that go all the way back to 1967 or 1968 being serviced at the dealer, not that it means that much, but it just shows the originality and care that was put into this vehicle. The owner's manual is like new. I'd also like to mention the car has the nicer wheels, which really makes the car look extra special driving down the road.

This car is available to be seen at our dealership Monday through Friday from 10 to 5, and weather permitting you can take it for a test drive. We'd like all potential buyers to see, feel and examine exactly what they may be bidding on. There's plenty of time left to drive the car before winter gets here. One winning bidder will get that opportunity!

GOOD LUCK TO ALL BIDDERS!
