1970 Pontiac GTO JUDGE REPLICA GTO

IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A REAL MUSCLE CAR, THAT LOOKS FAST, LOOKS GREAT AND DOES NOT BREAK THE BANK, "THIS MAY BE THE ONE". SHORT DISCRIPTION: The engine is a fresh 455 cubic inch, the transmission a 4 speed manual, the orange paint is nice, disc brakes in front, power steering, hood tachometer, new American racing wheels and more. WHERE DID THE CAR COME FROM? It was built in Arlington Texas, lived in Greenville South Carolina before my car restoring friend bought it in September of this year. The R code in the VIN means it was built in Arlington Texas and the title states that it was titled in Greenville, south Carolina. HOW IS THE BODY? I consider it very good, I see no rust bubbles in the paint, the frame looks very solid, floors look original to me, body mounts look solid. Thin under coating on the bottom, you can see what is going on, maybe a very minor repair, but it can not be much. I see no bends, kinks, or signs of a past accidents. HOW IS THE TITLE? A good clean title signed off correctly with a VIN that matches the car. IS THIS A REAL JUDGE GTO? Of course it is not, it is a very good replica. The car was born a Lemans and all the good stuff added. HOW IS THE ENGINE? Its a strong running 455 cubic inch, it is not the original engine. It is a real 455, the 455 casting marks on the bottom can be seen and read clearly. The past owner said the engine was fresh with a very few miles. It has a nice looping cam, a big 750 Holley carburetor, aluminum intake, big aluminum radiator, chrome valve covers and more. The air cleaner part on the engine is the ram air type, but the top part that goes to the hood was never installed. Its a very strong running engine. HOW IS THE TRANSMISSION? Its a 4 speed manual, the clutch has no slip or chatter, shifts good to me after you learn the feel. WHAT IS THE REAR END? Its a 10 bolt, I hear no whines or growls, it is gear good for the road. HEAD LIGHTS WORK! TAIL LIGHTS WORK! TURN SIGNALS WORK! ONE INDICATOR ON THE CLUSTER IS NOT WORKING-I WILL CHECK THE BULB! BRAKE LIGHT WORK! HORN NOT WORKING! SPEEDOMETER WORKS! GAS GAUGE WORKS! GAUGE POD WORKS UNDER DASH, OIL, TEMP AND VOLTS! WIPERS WORK! DOME LIGHT NOT WORKING! HORD TACHOMETER IS WORKING! RADIO WORKS, IT IS A AFTER MARKET CD WITH SPEAKERS IN THE PACKAGE TRAY. AIR CONDITIONING IS ALL CONNECTED AND FAN BLOW INSIDE. Compressor, condenser, dryer has been installed recently, converted to R134. Not cooling, I think it could be the POA valve. One of the POA valve eliminators need added and a modern 134 compressor. I do not have time to do the air work, I am pricing the car accordingly. HOW IS THE PAINT? I consider it very upper end driver quality. I think Pontiac calls it orbit orange, I think Chevrolet calls it hugger orange. No rust bubble, no dents, no dings, the body is very straight, the shine is brilliant, If you look hard with a critical eye you can find a spec. HOW IS THE VINYL TOP? Good, but not new. It is not dried out and cracked, 2 or 3 little picks down low at the back. It is a very decent vinyl top. HOW IS THE CHROME? Bumpers look like new, front and back window trim nice, side window divider has some minor pits. HOW IS THE GLASS? I had a new windshield put in, side glass good, look original, very minor marks. HOW IS THE INTERIOR? Seat covers good with wrinkles in the roll pleat part, carpet nice, dash pad has no cracks, door panels good, very loose head liner, head liner has no holes, but not installed good. HOW ARE THE BRAKES? Good brakes to me, front disc, rear drums and they are power assisted. HOW DOES THE CAR DRIVE? I consider it driving very good, on the road it handles good, at idle RPMs the power steering is very heavy at times when parking, above idle it feels good to me and on the road it feels good. HOW ARE THE WHEELS? The look like new and made by American Racing. Tire are BF Goodrich. HOW IS THE EXHAUST? Dual exhaust, muffler look like Flow Master, pipes are rusty pitted, poor quality weld jobs. The system works fine for now, but would be a future replacement in my mind. BOTTOM LINE? This is a nice Muscle Car, it is not a haul to the show in a trailer Show Queen. If you are looking for that Show Queen car get ready to pay a lot more money, if your looking for a fun car that looks and runs good this could be it. Please come look and make your own decision, inspect all you want to. This is a very nice GTO Judge replica/copy. Only the hard core Pontiac guys will know the difference. It looks good, runs good, it is fast, its not perfect for the price I am asking. WHERE IS THE CAR LOCATED? Athens, Tennessee 37303.
