1967 Pontiac Firebird standard

Up for sale this stunning and rare/ oddly configured 1967 Pontiac Firebird Convertible. Much love, money and time has gone into this car. Detailed description below. Get it in and drive anywhere!
Basics:
As stated this car has a rare configuration. It's a basic 6 cylinder, OHC 3.8 liter with manual three speed transmission (3 on the tree) and manual drum brakes yet has power steerin, power top, radio and was factory equipped with a underdash clock (missing). It's such an odd combo it even made the pages of Bring A Trailer and started a lively discussion years back..truly Ive never seen another one with this setup.Documents from Pontiac Historical Society confirm the build and will be supplied to buyer. Previous owner modified engine to mimic a Sprint model by switching out the intake manifold and carb. (have original in box somewhere) and adding a dual exhaust. Car runs and drives excellent and with the mild modifications has a low musclecar like rumble. All numbers match and mileage of 113k appears to be original though I can't guarantee it. I replaced the original timing belt (yes timing belt you heard correctly for a 1967) so my hunch is the mileage is accurate. I purchased this car from an older gentleman in Arizona several years ago and it was with it's original Cameo White paint and original complete blue interior. All panels on the car are original with only minimal bondo on sections of the quarter panel and R fender (probably more related to dents versus any rust). the body lines of this car confirm it hasn't been hacked or pieced together. The undercarriage and frame are original and solid with only surface/scale rust throughout yet no holes or weakened areas. I've since changed the paint to match the sporty appearance to Viper Blue with Cameo White painted stripes an its's quite a headturner. All jambs and trunk were sprayed as well and it was a basic enamel paint job with the usual defects associated with such.
Mechanical/ Maintenance:
The following items have been replaced within the past 2 years. Complete brake job (done this week fyi) including all new metal brakelines, hoses, wheel cylinders and rebuilt master cylinder. New hydraulic convertible top motor, switch, hydraulic lines and breaker, new timing belt, complete tuneup, electrical system troubleshooting lighting and wiring (various sockets and connectors replaced), clutch shifts well with good pedal, regular oil changes with synthetic oil, new battery, alternator, and many other items I'm sure I'm forgetting. Bottom line the car has been maintained well and significant $ spent. You can get in this car and drive cross country but still has enough little things to tinker with to keep any weekend mechanic/carfan entertained.
Body/Details:
As stated this car has only one respray over original paint. All panels are original fit and finish as is all chrome (with the exception of side mirrors). No rust through anywhere on the body or undercarriage including trunk. Has original cocktail shakers in trunk as well as trunk mat (which is old and dirty but still there). Doors close solid with a resounding "thunk" and the car has never appeared to be in any accidents. Front and rear bumpers are original and with minor imperfections but no dents. chrome around windows is pitted and worn, vent windows (only in '67) operate as they should with new pulls/locks. Convertible top is crisp clean and white though the back plastic window is badly hazed (despite multiple cleaning and polishing attempts) and the side edging and top finishing strip should be replaced. No leaks and perfectly serviceable for now and goes up and down flawlessly. There is NO rust in the windshield/dash channel that is very common on these cars nor any around the base of the fenders where they attach to the front valance or the hood or in the door jambs which are all typical rust zones. Matching original glass throughout.
What it needs:
I'd definitely consider a carb. rebuild as when starting cold it it's a bit fussy and spits and grumbles until warmed up. I had foregone this as my plans were to eliminate the sprint setup and return to the single barrel simplicity. The carpet is original and definitely discolored and dry and other than that the interior is nearly pristine including the dashpad door panels etc. Convertible top as stated before is probably due for a replacement and perhaps a wetsand to the paint to optimize it's appearance.
Conclusion/ Sale Details:
This is an honest well sorted driver car. It is not a museum piece nor has it been hacked or modified beyond a color change and carb. setup. I drive my cars and they're meant to be enjoyed but this is certainly respectable enough to enter in local shows or turn heads cruising around. The last picture is of my "fleet"and the other vehicles are for sale (see my other listings). I'm only getting rid of the collection due to a divorce and lack of storage and to generate $. I do not have them listed for sale locally and will let the market dictate the price, plus I'm not interested in kids with no money showing up at my door to go on a joyride. I have been an ebay member since 2000 with 100% feedback and have bought and sold several cars over the years but I am NOT a dealer or expert so the car is sold where is/as is. I welcome any third party/mechanic/personal inspection prior to bidding. You are bidding to buy not to kvetch over flaws after the fact and please clear with your wife, accountant and cat before bidding. Non-refundable deposit to be made in 24 hours and Paypal, wire transfer or cash in person for balance (though if buyer opts for Paypal is responsible for associated fees) I am close to the Philly Airport all major shippers and will assist in any way possible to make this a smooth transaction and welcome any questions. Thanks for looking and good luck on this NO RESERVE beauty!
