We sell a lot of rare and unusual vehicles on ebay -- normally European cars, but we do dabble in other vehicles that are historically significant, rare, or special. Normally I write an extensive description of what the car is, and what the model is all about. However, in the case of this Fiero, the pictures really do the talking. Plus, if you're looking at this listing, I'm sure you already know all about the cars at which you're looking. For the sake of providing the basics though, it's important to note that the Fiero was General Motors' foray into a two-seater mid-engine vehicle which was a direct competitor of the MK1 Toyota MR2. This is one of those times that GM actually ended up with a very good car. These cars came with either the 4 Cylinder "Iron Duke" engine, or GM's new MPFI 2.8 Liter 60 degree V6. These cars are particularly good with the V6. They develop smooth power and return respectable fuel economy, all while making a very distinctive noise which anyone will recognize if they lived through the 80s. This Fiero has every single possible option. Everything. From the removable sunroof, to the extremely expensive and rare Suede and Fleece interior, and right down to the engine block heater. It's all here.

The interior of this Fiero is in beautiful condition. In fact, overall, its absolutely spectacular. The interior is finished in the very rare optional Suede and Fleece interior. That's right, the seats are finished in genuine suede, and they show no wear. It has the original audio system with a really cool 80s graphic equalizer. The original headunit is in the trunk as the current owner removed it in favor of a more modern headunit. It can be refitted if the buyer prefers. It also has the standard 80s climate control which which you find in every GM car of this era. It has the optional air conditioning. The air conditioning retains its originla R-12 charge and is still ice cold. Everything in the interior works. The previous owner of this car was definitely a non-smoker. The cigarette lighter hasn't been used, nor has the ash tray. The sunroof is there and opens and closes. The glass panel can also be lifted out and placed in a special slot inside the frunk. There is also a wind deflector which clips in when the glass is removed. This is shown in the photos. This car is truly a time capsule; right down to the "new car smell."

The exterior of this Fiero is in exceptionally nice condition, and is White in color. To say that this car turns heads would be the understatement of the century. The wheels are very unique and unlike anything on any other car. They are distinctively Pontiac. They're in flawless condition and even maintain their original factory markings from when they were manufactured, and the first tires were mounted. The outside of the car is actually completely free of dings and scratches. The paint is sublime. The car has the original front license plate bracket which we were also told is difficult to find. It's important to note that this car is completely 100% rust free. This car was clearly never driven in the winter. It could easily be on the showroom floor in 1991. The car does have flip up headlights which work perfectly. Actually, everything works perfectly! The car includes all of its original manuals, plus it includes the original FSM (Factory Service Manual).

The tires are all in good shape and are matching. They are nearly brand new. The tires were replaced because the age of the original tires made them a safety hazard. The brakes are in good shape and the car stops as it should. Even the brake calipers are still silver with no surface rust showing just how amazing this car's condition is. The legendary 2.8 Liter MPFI 60 Degree V6 engine runs flawlessly and is very smooth. These engines are an incredible combination of power and smoothness. The car runs, drives, looks, sounds, and smells brand new. This is as nice as it gets!

In addition, we road-test every car we sell very extensively before offering it. If there are any issues with the car that are present, they will be mentioned in the auction. We can provide a temporary cardboard plate for out of state customers at no charge. Pennsylvania residents will need to pay sales tax between 6% and 7% depending upon your county of residence. There are also Pennsylvania fees for the registration, title, and license plate (unless you bring your own plate to transfer).
Inexpensive used cars are not at all the same as a brand new car, or certified pre-owned vehicle. They are in no way flawless, or perfect. As noted above, we try our absolute best to disclose any issues which may be present on the car, however a car's condition is somewhat subjective and opinion based. Where door ding may be considered perfectly acceptable on a 10 year old car, it would never be acceptible on a car which is brand new. Also, on higher-mileage used cars, it is important to remember that virtually any mechanical or non-mechanical component can fail at any time. We cannot predict what components will fail in the future, or when they will fail. This is simply the nature of older higher mileage used vehicles. The best that we can do is assure that the car is operating properly at the time of purchase. This car is sold as-is, and we cannot be held responsible for any mechanical or non-mechanical failure. Additionally, because we do not know the inspection requirements of other states, we cannot guarantee that this vehicle will pass any out-of-state inspections.
