1988 represented the ultimate and final year for the Pontiac Fiero.Originally conceived as an economical commuter car, the Fiero evolved over its five years of production into a true sportscar in 1988.Featuring the enhanced WS6 suspension package and the high output V6 engine, the 1988 Pontiac Fiero finally realized the dreams that the original GM designers had for the model.The 2-seat mid-engine design is truly unique in General Motors history and the 1988 model has become model year most sought after by collectors.

This Fiero is the Formula model which combined the top of the line engine with the lightest body making it the fastest of the Fiero lines.The Formula is also the most rare version of the Fiero with only 5,484 built.The 2.8 liter six cylinder engine is mated to a five speed manual transmission, the WS6 suspension and features four wheel disc brakes making it a true driver's car.
