1962 Pontiac Tempest

1962 Pontiac tempest project car. I bought this car with the intention of making it resemble an old A/FX drag car. Plans have changed and I havedecided to sell it. The car is an excellent candidate for a pro touring, drag race, pro street car, or even restore it, all the parts are there you decide. The car was in the process of being taken apart when I got it, but all the parts come with it as well as many others. I have a 1961 front end minus the hood, 61 bumpers, 61 grilles,62 bumpers as well as the complete original62front end from this car.I have the 62 hood. The lower rear valence is the worst part of the car it's rusted but Ihave a real clean used replacement for that as well. All the glass is excellent and looks to be original. I have invoices from the guy I bought it from for $1250 in good used sheet metal for it from east/west auto parts. The floors are solid, it has both front (bench)and rear seats. The engine turns over easy and is not locked up, however I never started it so I don't know how it runs.if you need any other photos just ask and ill try my beat to get them to you. The car is in Queens NYand will need to be picked up from that location. I will also assist your shipper best I can, but keep in mind the brakes don't work, and you will need a pickup or make arraignmentsfor the big parts,as I said the car does not run.The title is free and clear! The buyer will make all arraignments and paymentsfor the shipping and moving of the car and parts. I also reserve the right to remove the listing if the car sells locally before the auction ends. I tried to cover it all to best of my knowledge but questions are welcome, please feel free to ask. In fairness to all I will not reveal the reserve,so please don't ask... that question will not be answered!! Also no trades of any kind please,I have too many projects NOW! Thanks and good luck bidding.
