The was the Motor Trend car of the year in 1968 and it's obvious to see why. Hide away headlights, working factory A/C, power steering, power disc brakes, Turbo 400 with His/Hers Hurst shifter and the all important PHS documentation showing it to be correct. It is also an original matching number motor. This car had a frame off restoration years ago and has held up quite well despite being driven like they should be. The interior is still like new and the top goes up and down like it should. The body is very straight and while the paint looks great from 10 feet fresh paint would take it to a whole new level. There are 2 or 3 spots where it is showing signs of very slight lifting. I can't get them to show in a photo. They are very small and pretty much in the center of the front fender and a small one in about the center of the 1/4 panel. Again they are small and the paint is quite old but I'm being very precise on the description as I owned a restoration shop for 18 years and you don't need any surprises. It runs and drives very well and is noticed everywhere it goes. The headlights work well. I see signs of a trunk pan and possibly a bit of forward floor pan replaced but no signs of any body rust or panel replacement. Just a nice GTO convertible you can enjoyas is. Clean title in my name.
