For sale is this stunning 1968 Pontiac LeMans Convertible. This car has been pampered and it shows. All but few of these LeMans have found themselves covered with "GTO" badges, making this one refreshingly original. The original 350 cubic inch V8 engine and 3-speed automatic transmission push this steel sleigh through the gears, and the numbers matching rear has been upgraded to an Eaton Posi carrier with Richmond 3.55's.

A smooth layer of deep Verdoro Green paint has been applied over this Pontiac's original body panels. All the chrome shines bright and sparkles. Step inside and enjoy the gorgeous pearl white vinyl interior, that along with its wood grain dash and matching center console bring a sense of elegance to this beauty. The muscular 5-spoke 17" rims give it a nice aggressive, yet elegant original look.

Some of what has been done/or upgraded:

Paint-Car was painted 6 years ago and recently professional buffed out. Looks great with minor chips/blemishes. Car has all its original body panels.

Engine- The numbers matching engine, heads, carb, everything is there. Engine YN, heads 17 are all PHS documented. It has been converted from a 350 2v to a 350HO 4v with a period correct intake manifold, a newly built Quadrajet, a matching dual snorkel air cleaner (from 1971), and chrome valve covers. A Summit 2800 Cam, the usual: new dual springs, lifters, valve stem seals and double roller timing chain were also installed. The original choke setup is in place and works flawlessly.

Drivetrain- The original numbers matching two speed tranny has been replaced with a newly rebuilt TH350. The OEM, numbers matching rear is there upgraded to an Eaton Posi carrier with Richmond 3.55's. Power front disc brakes.

Exhaust- The exhaust was upgraded to a 2.5" dual exhaust with X pipe and Flowmasters (stock was 2" dual on this car). The 2" tail pipes and original tips were retained for the stock LeMans look. It also keeps it very comfortable inside the car with respect to noise while cruising topless. It sounds great outside, yet is quiet inside with this setup.

Interior- All switches, lights and parts work. Even the alarm for key left in the ignition function perfectly. Decided to change the interior from black to pearl white. A 15" Grant Wood Steering Wheel has also been installed.

Suspension and front end- Upgraded front and rear sway bars, rear traction bars from Summit, new Moog front end and springs.

Interior as well as exteriors lighting all upgraded to HID and LED's.

New Sound system featuring Bluetooth and cell phone app ready.

Wheels & Tires- Chrome 17" 5 spoke rims with Nitto tires.
