The Grand Prix was introduced in 1962 to replace the full-size Ventura 2-door. Offered with a standard 303 horsepower 389ci V8, ven a stock Grand Prix was no slouch. It was possible to turn up the heat to more powerful tri-power 389 set-ups or even the until-then race only 421 with over 400 horsepower! A host of options and features made the Grand Prix attractive to the person that wanted a car sportier than a Catalina at less money than a Bonneville!

We are very excited to offer this 1966 Pontiac Grand Prix hardtop! The car is finished in its factory correct colors of Platinum Blue over Parchment White vinyl interior upholstery. The car is powered by its original, umbers matching YF-code 389ci V8 (10.5:1 compression, 25 horsepower) featuring single 4-barrel carburetor backed by an M40 Hydramatic transmission. Features and options on the car include factory air conditioning, ower steering, ower brakes, ower windows, ower seat, M radio with Verba-Phonic rear speaker and power antenna, eadrests, eat belts front/rear, isor vanity mirror, on-glare tilt rear-view mirror, river side-view mirror, ucket seats, onsole, auge cluster and more! The car rides on factory original aluminum 8-lug wheels wrapped in modern steel belted radial tires!

The odometer shows 62,611 miles, hich we believe to be correct and original to the car that was delivered new to Sun Pontiac in Mesa, rizona. Further evidence of an easy life is the undercarriage, here many components will show far less than average wear, ith regular replacement of rubber hoses and lines, rake/suspension components and a new exhaust! The top side of the car is also in excellent condition, ith one repaint in the original color and no readily visible dings or scratches. Included with the car are some records, HS documentation and a build sheet! Of note, ven all of the LOF Safety-Plate Soft-Ray tinted glass is original to the car. The car comes freshly serviced including cold air conditioning system, ew interior headliner, ransmission kickdown rebuild, nd mechanical once-through to include fresh fluids. The car has been driven extensively while here and we have found it to be one of the nicest examples of a Grand Prix that money can buy. It rides perfectly straight going down the road, hifts ultra smooth, nd accelerates with excellent power! The power brakes are equally confident with instant pedal feedback and easy stops. A truly outstanding road going vehicle! And of the 36,757 built in 1966, e are confident that this is one of the most well equipped and sorted specimens! We would invite any interested parties to call with additional questions. Thanks for looking!
