Description:

1977 Pontiac Trans Am

This auction is for a 1977 Pontiac Trans Am 6.6 L engine, with an automatic transmission. This is a Texas barn find, this is a survivor car, the odometer reads 40,437 miles. This car had been sitting since 2005 and had a lot of work done on it before was parked inside a barn. This is an all original car. We cleaned out the gas tank, put new fuel in it, put a new battery in it and it fired right up. Again this is a survivor car it has not been messed with, it has not been converted or changed from new. The only things that we did was clean up the gas tank, put a new battery in it and put another muffler on it because the one that was on it was leaking. We have paperwork of the original sale/buyer, two family owner and some mechanical records since it was new and the 2004 mechanical records showing that it was only 39,000 plus miles then and what work they had done on it. This is a Texas car it has no rust through underneath, no damage to the body except chips in the paint, no dents. The interior is in very good condition the carpet on the driver side has a wear spot and probably could be replaced but, the rest of the interior, seats and headliner is in their original tuxedo color scheme. Again, this is a rare survivor car that has not been messed with and drives nicely right now. I've been diagnosed with cancer and I need money, this was going to be my every day driver but, I don't have the energy to rebuild the carburetor and spruce it up. Thank you for looking and thank you for bidding and good luck. Happy holidays! Clear title!!!!!!$2000 down must be paid within 24 hours of the auction completion by PayPal the balance must be paid upon pickup.Seller is advertising this car on several sites and reserves the right to end this auction at anytime.

I have had a slew of questions so I'll try to answer most of them here. When the car was parked in 2004 it just had the transmission rebuilt the front brakes and hoses replced, new water pump, hoses and a bunch more that we have the service records for. If you want a survivor the 40 year old paint job is fine if you want it fresh and shiny without all the chips and cracks go for it, reprint it. The miracle is the fact that the condition now is very nice for an iridinal car and the fact that 12 years later with just a little effort it's driveablr as is. Yes, again it runs and drives just fine, I would replace the carpet, rebuild the carburetor, lube the odometer cable and just drive it. You can make it new if you so choose. This great car is 40 years old, comes with the service records, Again a clear title! Thank you for all your interest, now buy it please.Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas
