Up for sale is a1967 Pontiac Tempest Custom Coupe.This car is almost all original and is very solid; I would say 98% rust free. The odometer reads just over 61k which I do believe to be accurate and original by looking at the car but is not documented.Everything on the car works except for the turn signals and the radio.The body is extremely solid and has all its original sheet metal except for the gto hood.It has been repainted once about 15 yrs ago back to its original color, the roof and the hood look like they were painted at a different time, and the hood does not match perfect.The paint does have some minor flaws and is not perfect.The only rust I have found on the car is some minor pitting in the trunk floor, looks like it had a small spot of rust patched on the rear lower part of passenger side front fender and some minor rust staring in the package tray and bottom of back window is not completely rusted out, mainly just pitted and there are probably some spots starting to rust through but I do not know for sure as I have not had it apart to check it. I have not found any evidence of rust or repairs anywhere else on the car.The floors and braces are in great shape along with the frame.The car runs and drives great.It has the original OHC 6 cyl backed by a ST 300 2 speed transmission.The engine runs good, and the transmission shifts as it should.Car was just serviced and has new radiator hoses and new tires.The interior is in great shape and is all original.The door panels could use to be replaced; the front ones have speaker holes cut in them.The headliner does sag in a couple spots.The seats are in great shape except for one spot on the top of the back seat that is hard and cracked.I do have the original tail lights and dash plate which are included in this sale.This Pontiac is an amazing car and will make a great driver with very minimal work or would be a great car to restore.Please feel free to ask any questions that you might have.
