1933 PONTIAC 'TOURING COUPE'

PONTIAC'S VERSION OF THE DESIRABLE 'VICTORIA' BODYSTYLE

AN EASY FINISH TO A DESIRABLE, HARD-TO-FIND STREET ROD!

MUCH RARE THAN A 1932, 1933, 1934 FORD OR CHEVY

This 1933 Pontiac has ameticulouslyrestored all metal body, which is nearly paint ready! The tophas been chopped 2", and a new original style black top insert has been professionally installed. ALL of the original wood has been replaced with custom metal, and the doors have been converted to suicide doors, with custom hidden hinges, bear claw latches and shaved handles. The body on this car is BEAUTIFUL, and sprayed out in a satin black primer. If you were to pay a professional shop to do all that has been done already, you would pay twice my price just for the custom work done to date!

Underneath, the originalframe has been boxed, with a new Heidt'sIFS with lots of polished parts, adjustable coilovers, rack & pinion steering and front discs withpolished Wilwood calipers. The rear is a 8" with new Mosier axles and bearings, but nothird member or rear brakes. The chassis is completely painted out, and the body is mounted and fit. The engine mounts are set up for a Pontiac 400 V/8 with Turbo 350 (now removed and not included). A new Walker radiator (with A/C condenser) is also installed. The car has no plumbing or wiring yet completed.

Car includesmounted headlights, taillights, the original body mounted trunk, a rear bumper, extra headlight buckets and lens, headlight wiring, and some other miscl parts. The work to date was done by the previous owner, who has been building street rods for 40 years, and his expertise and attention to detail show! This Pontiacis being sold with a clear Michigan title, signed off by the man I purchased it from in 2012. I will include this with a copy of the bill of sale of when I purchased it in 2012, as well as a new bill of sale for your purchase.

Ialso have access to a restored, rare '33 Pontiac Indian hood ornament, which although is not included, could be purchased separately from this auction if desired (although I think the smooth look is best suited for this car).

The lastEIGHT (8)photos are ofa couple of different 1933 - 1934 Pontiac and OldsmobileResto-Rods - togive you an idea of how great these GM cars look finished. The long hood definitely makes this car stand out amongst a sea of Fords! In fact, when was the last time you saw a '33 Pontiac rod at the local cruise-in!?

PLEASE NOTE - ALL of the interior window garnish mouldings have all beenprofessionally cut todown to match the chop! The firewall has been smoothed! Motor mounts are included. Gas tank included. If that car was given to you for free, you couldn't possibly do all of the work that has been done to it for my asking price!
