1964 Pontiac Grand Prix

I Purchased this car in 9/12. . The car started out as a Automati, 4 BBl.3:08 Posi car from the factory. I installed a new .068 RAIII Tripower cam with a correct Big Car Tripowe, with all correct big car throttle linkage rods . At that time I installed new lifters and Push rods and timing chai, all USA made parts. I Removed the points and installed a Pertronix Kit . I Removed the factory 3:08 gears and posi unit, and installed New FabCraft USA made 3:42 ring and pinion and rebuilt the posi unit using all USA parts as well as new axle bearings and seals . I converted the car to 4 speed using a professionally rebuilt period correct 61-64 big car BW T-10 Trans, wide ratio. I used a 1965 Bell housing and parts conversion kit from BOP engineerin, I was actually one of the first to complete this conversion using the 65 and up parts. I installed the VERY RARE 4 speed console. The dash is as nice as you will fin, and is original. I searched and found a very rare MINT Dash Mounted tach, that looks and works perfectly. I also added the Pontiac Manifold Vacuum gauge onto the console also very mint . I removed the original "Idiot" gauges from the factory Dash Pods, and installed Auto Meter Gauges into the original pods without modifying the originals holes. Both bumpers are all re-chromed . Rear tail panel is a VERY VERY nice origina, just about impossible to find !. Reverse lenses are NO, hard to find . New brakes all around with 8 Lug wheels, in almost show condition including the center caps . All fender and trunk lid letters are new as well as the GP badges .New drive shaft, and U-joint, I also replaced the cross member to a very nice original one . I installed a 67 wood wheel that looks great . This is an awesome running powerful rare car. I have other Pontiacs and I just recently purchased another one . I had no intentions of selling this ca, I just don't have time to drive them all and I need to make the space. You will not be disappointe, you can drive this car anywhere! The 389 runs very cool with an original correct metal fan shroud and heavy duty big block fan clutch with new water pump divder plates and a Mr. Gasket Thermostat and a new stock replacement 3 row Radiator . Painted in 2014 with PPG single stage in the color is 1964 Pontiac Cameo Whit, original color was gold . The paint was wet sanded and buffed and really shines . I built this car with a lot of passion and detail. So many new and correct parts . No cutting of corners with this car . The front seats have been recovered before me, and there are tears along the lines . The rear seats look totally original gold . The headliner is very nice original . I have many many hours into this car doing the research as well as turning the wrenches. My reserve is very fai, way way way less then the money spent on this build . Email me or we can talk ? Must see to really appreciate this car .Thanks for Looking !!!!
