Please check the videos at the end of the listing, do not hesitate to ask any questions, these are the details:
This is a southwest car in original condition inside and out, matching numbers. There are several things that need to be fix and/or replace. Some things that need attention; within others, are passenger seat upholstery, head liner, rear bumper balance, windshield, dashboard, armrest lid, A/C compressor (system just blows air), window tinting and definitively a new paint job. This car is 44 years old in its original condition, the paint is a 20 footer, don't expect a show winner car, still beautiful, attention-grabbing and great candidate for a full restoration.
Super solid floor boards, trunk, very clean frame and body, there is no rust of concern. I have not found signs of bondo or patches, front fenders and rear quarter panels seems to be the original. Windows roll down, moldings and all chrome in place.
The most expensive phase of a project is the body work, this one needs minimum work.
Runs strong, handling is smooth and responsive, straight ride in highway. Wheels, tires and brakes are in good condition.
If you are in the business of restoration or just want a daily drive while working on it little by little... This is the one.

Some history...
In 1971, the Tempest nameplate was retired and Pontiac promoted the Le Mans nameplate to full-series status to identify all of its intermediate models, which still included the GTO. At the bottom of the line was the Pontiac T-37, previously known as the Tempest, and now expanded to include two- and four-door sedan along with the original hardtop coupe. The GT-37 option was available on both the two-door sedan (pillared coupe) or hardtop coupe.
For 1972, all Pontiac intermediates were now Le Mans models and the low-priced T-37 line was replaced by a base Le Mans pillared coupe. The top-line intermediate was the Luxury Le Mans, available in hardtop sedan and coupe models, featuring plusher interiors than regular Le Mans models. The Le Mans Sport was available as a two-door hardtop or convertible featuring Strato bucket seats and plush interior fittings from the Luxury Le Mans. The GTO was changed from a separate series back to an option package on Le Mans and Le Mans Sport coupes. Replacing the previous GT-37 option package for 1972 was the new "Le Mans GT" option, available on Le Mans pillared and hardtop coupes with any V8 ranging from the 350 two-barrel to the 455 HO four-barrel, and also included the same appearance and handling items carried over from the GT-37.
The Luxury LeMans Series included a unique front end with a grille that featured twin cavities divided by horizontal blades. They had full-length bodyside moldings, fender skirts, and roof pillar letter badges. Standard equipment included all the items found on the base LeMans plus all-Morrokide bucket seats. Morrokide or cloth and Morrokide upholstery was for the upholstery, there were carpeted lower door panels, custom cushion steering wheel, door assist straps in the front, armrest accents, astray and glove box lamps, and pedal trim plates.
