1989 Pontiac Trans Am GTA

For Sale I have a highly collectible, rare, low mileage &stock 1989 Pontiac Turbo Trans Am 20th Anniversary Indianapolis 500Pace Car. I'm the third owner of this beautiful car which only has31,038 miles on it.As most of you reading this know, there were only 1,555 of these cars made. This particular car is production number 1345. It comes with the specialpromotional blackowner's box, a supplementary Turbo Trans Amservice manual and even the T-Top cloth interior matchingcovers which velco to the inside T-tops.This TTAcomes with the only 2 options offered for this car = T-Tops & Leather.
This TTA runs great and is fast. It shifts crisply. No leaks. Blows cold air.The previous owners were in Texas so it's never seensalt and has a clean underside. The paint looks niceoverall but has some small flaws and few nicks. It was repainted in the last 10 years due to clear-coat issues. It has never had body work (see history report)and isstraight with all original body parts with the VIN decal on the insidehood, doors, bumper & hatch as it should.Thisside panels are stamped 1989 as well. Ithas the original rear wingbut the paint has a couple cracks in it which is common. The leather interior is real nice and only shows wear on the driver's side, sidelumbar. The tires have about 75% tread on them. The shocks and struts were replaced about 6 years ago and it's nice and tight. The plugs and wires were replaced 2 years ago. Original GMmuffler. This is truly a nice, reliable classiccar you can be proud to own and enjoy driving to shows etc. It's factory stock with the exception of typical wearable items such as floor mats, tires, spark plug wires, air cleaner, shocks etc. Also, I must note that at one time there was an alarm installed and it still has the siren and wiresunder the hoodbut is inactive.
As forknown issues, it has a few minor ones that I have lived with. Thehatch button does not work inside but the electrictruck does open with thekey. The electric motorworks fine &pulls the hatch down closed. The radio & steering wheel controls work, antenna goes up and down, but the includedcassette tape for digital transfer of musicoften timeswon't ejectso you have to listen to musicby connecting it to an IPhone/ Ipod or similar device. Lastly, I thought I'd mention that occasionally theorange dashlight has gone on& off and it has at timesidled a little high +-1,000 RPM's but thisis usually not the case and despite this has not been an issuehampering engine performace....
I have a clear title for this car. It just needs a proud new owner. I bought a different collector carwhich is a little more rarethen this one, otherwise I'd be keeping it.
