This car was born with the high performance (E63) 383ci 4bbl V8, ut it no longer carried its proper engine, o in the restoration, he engine was upgraded to a top spec, 970 date-coded 440ci Super Commando V8 with “6-Pack” six barrel induction and shaker hood.

Just 548 ‘Cuda Convertibles were built in total for the 1970 model year. Of those, 32 were delivered new with the high performance 383ci/727 Torqueflite drivetrain, nd the factory built 60 440ci cars.
