Description:

1948 Plymouth Other

I purchased this Plymouth 7+ years ago and have hit a wall. I am in over my head with trying to finish this project. I now have a house to take care of along with two little kids. This is a project with a good starting foundation.

The roof has been chopped 4 inches. Back glass laid forward so that the rear curved glass can still be used. All other glass is flat. (I do not have any glass)

The door are now suicide doors with shaved handles and bear claw latches.

The front clip is from a 1985 Plymouth Volare and was rebuilt 3-4 years ago. Complete with power steering and disc brakes.

The engine is a 454 that was purchased when I bough the car. it came from a running 1970='s Chevelle and has not been run since then.

The transmission is a turbo 400 that came with the engine.

The interior floor has been completely replaced and re-braced with 1"x1" tube and new mounts. The metal was then sealed with POR 15.

The front and rear seats are out of a 2000 Chrysler Sebring Convertible.

The front fenders were welded to the hood in order to make a tile front end.

All the body trim holes have been filled. The rear fenders were attached to the body and the felt line removed.

I have numerous extra front grill pieces.

I have a new aluminum radiator. Power window kits for all four windows. Also have a new wiring harness.

Car will need all wiring ran, rake lines and fuel lines.

A majority of this work was preformed by the previous owner that owned a shop in Las Gatos CA. He was selling off 1/2 of his projects due to illness.

This car has not been registered since I purchased it in 2008. There may be back fees and the amount is still unknown. DMV was unable to locate it the system last I checked. I have the title in my name.
