Description:

1967 Plymouth GTX GTX

The hard work is done on this special black/black 4 speed GTX. I own a restoration shop and I purchased the car from a gentleman who had been restoring it. I had planned to build it myself but I have too many projects and I have to let her go.
This is an interesting GTX because it is a plain jane. I have the build sheet and a decode on it. The car came with no rally stripes, no vinyl top, steel wheels, no console, manual steering and manual(drum) brakes. While most GTXs were highly optioned, this one went the other direction. All business! Of the roughly 2,500 4 speed '67 GTXs produced- this one has to be one of only a handful.

Details-
Body- All bodywork done to a high standard. The fenders, hood, doors, and trunk lid are all painted (not the original color as PO was planning to make it orange). The body has new floor pans and needs maybe one round of blocking and sanding and its ready for paint.
Drive train- Car comes with a fresh, never run 440 short block .60 over with forged pistons and HD rods. This is not the original motor. The car comes with the original 915 heads, the original HP exhaust manifolds, the original A833 4 speed, and the original dana 60 rear end. Car comes with 4 brand new never used BF goodrich Silvertown TA red stripe radials.
Interior- All of the seats have brand new upholstery, the interior is complete- all parts are there and in nice shape. Some will have to be painted but they are solid. Comes with new carpet. Headliner will have to be replaced. Has original AM radio, clock, and instrument cluster.
Trim- All of the trim is present, as is all of the glass. There are new window gaskets, new kitty whiskers, and several other new trim parts. Painted trim panels such as the rear insert and the grille are in nice shape but will need to be freshened up with some new paint. The front and rear bumpers have fresh chrome- never used. All the lights are present and in good condition.
What is missing? Car needs a radiator and a heater box. The original steel wheels are not with the car, nor are the wheel covers. All other parts are there. Some of them such as the wiring harness will likely need to be replaced, but they are there.
Other stuff- I have the build sheet, fender tag, original keys, original owners manual, and a decode of the build sheet. The car has a clean Louisiana title.
If you want to build a GTX- this one is perfect because the heavy lifting is done.
