1972 Duster period correct restoration. Car started it’s life as a slant-6 gold duster. My father brought this one back to life with a potent professionally built WRP (Watson Ruppel Performance) 360 engine coupled to a modified automatic and a 8.75 Sure-grip 3:23 rear end. More engine details are available upon request. He completely replaced the interior, and had the exterior painted with a very sharp metallic gray (Mineral Gray Variant) with painted stripes below the clear coat. As a mechanic by trade, he was extremely meticulous as a car restorer. This was his 6th car to restore and wanted something fun to go get a burger in. His cars were his pride and joy and were never done in his eyes as there was always something he could improve on them. He was 95% done on this car and was planning to convert the brakes over to disk from the original drum system and select some sharp wheels to complete the look. Unfortunately he passed before he was too far into that conversion. The front disc brake conversion kit is included with the car, but not installed. The car comes with the original, but rebuilt, drum system. Original build sheet is included with car. The title lists the odometer as exceeds mechanical limits. Car has less than 1000 miles since the rebuild.
