Description:

1972 Plymouth Barracuda Cuda 340

1972 Plymouth Cuda started life as a 340 ca, changed to 440. Carolina car. original engine long gone. Has 1971 six pack engine (heavy connecting rods, HP block). Engine rebuilt with Speed pro flat top forged pistons (old school build). bored .060 over. Indy top end and competition cams roller rockers and camshaft. 3000 stall speed converter (hughes i think). TTI exhaust headers and pipes. 750 or 800 cfm Holley single 4 barrel carb with vacuum secondaries. Runs well, tons of power. Indy heads with indy pushrods and single 4 barrel dual plane intake. Engine has high compression probably just under 11:1 ratio? Runs well on premium gas when driving normal. Needs race fuel if you are pushing it to avoid detonation. Rebuilt 727 auto trans with cooler and aluminum pan works well. New heavy duty driveshaft with 1350 spicer truck u-joints. Yukon yoke. 8 3/4 diff with new posi unit (clutch style) new US gear 3:91 gears installed. I have the old 3:23 gears available if highway gears desired. Stock brakes refreshed and lines replaced as needed, all new lines and brake cylinders in rear. New adjustable shocks and super stock springs installed. New tires in front, tires in good shape rear, 14 inch rims all around. Nice floor boards with trunk needing repaired as shown, body needs repair as buyer sees fit. Interior was originally gold/cream colored as shown, have rear seat cushions with usable springs to recover. Have original build sheet and fender tag as shown. Gold color and hood stripe treatment original to car. Car is turn key and driveable. Mileage listed is what shows on odometer no idea if accurate. I drive it around block often but have never taken on long trip myself. I am not really interestedintaking more pictures so if you are serious about car personal showings are ok with me. I live in Midland michiganjust past midland rv and the fairgrounds.
Please don't bother lowballing me or telling me how much it isn't worth,If my price is too high just pass on by. Thanks for looking.
