1968 Plymouth Satellite Sport
Plymouth 1968 Sport Satellite Convertible, same trim package as GTX, except it's a 318 2BBL automatic, car is all original, bucket seats with center console, body is very solid, floor pans are all clean and solid just surface underneath, no rust in rear quarters there all original, car streight down sides no door dings, rockers, underneath doors solid, engine bay inter fenders, hood hinges solid. The top has some cracks in few place, glued them up still keeps rain out if left outside, it's showing it's age, I painted original Mopar Red and new top back 1986, interior all original front seats reupholstered back in 1986, the back seat is original the dash in good shape no cracks, the consoles in good shape, the carpet is old was never replaced all windows roll up and down no cracks, the instruments on the dash all gages worked except the radio did not work. During repaint body man added filler atop rear wheel well, now starting to crack and peel, truck pad starting to flake rust in centerof it.I drove from 1985 to 2007, the little 318 freeze plugs started rusting out, two of them gave way I pulled it down in my building 11 years ago with the intention of fixing it, well that never happened now approaching 70 I don't have the energy anymore, time to let somebody else put her back on the road I drove this car to numerous Auto shows and won trophies and plaques over the years it still would be a good car to fix up and put back on the road. Also have the original top covers to the console, however the console is 69 GTX. remembered I changed the third member out to a 323 posi Trac unit pull from a 1970 Cuda I put it in 25 years ago almost forgot about it.
