Description:

1970 Plymouth Barracuda AAR CUDA

I'm reluctantly selling my bucket list dream car, my '70 AAR Cuda. If you're reading this, you already know how special this car is and does not need an introduction. For those not as familiar, this was a one year only model built for SCCA Racing purposes with the 340 six pack (matching numbers), and in my opinion, the best color option, B5 Blue fire metallic (original code), with the stock blackout hood treatment and strobe stripes, really makes it pop with the blue and black color scheme and matching bright blue interior. Low ownership history, original owner bought it new in 1970 till 2016. and is a strong driver, recently did a top end rebuild to stock spec., rebuilt the carburetors, radiator, nos hoses, etc.A documented build sheet, all vin stamps on cowl, radiator support, door, and original body panels, original fresh air hood and trim tag. Registrations dating back to the early 70's, also documented photos of car and registrations dating back to the early 70's, as well as one of the very first AAR Cuda club ownership papers in the early 80's, AAR patch, listed in the AAR registry, bullet proof docs and history here. Some very rare and interesting options on car, including "buddy seat" (split bench), column shift, yes that's correct, column shift and still in tact (super rare). Also, is a J36 dual racing mirror and A62 rally dash options. I'm attaching color report below 1 of only 7 in this configuration. Underneath the hood is a time capsule, original distributor, radiator, heads, carbs, exhaust manifold, even original trumpet exhaust, air cleaner and many other components either original or nos date correct. No rust, very dry underneath (see pics). Believed to be 38K original miles according to registrations throughout the years and mopar expert inspected and found no sag in door to corroborate. Was always cared for and garaged from original owner and it shows. Only reason for sale is current real estate deal and some toys need to go. Lowest price numbers matching 340 six pack AAR Cuda in the country, Please serious buyers only, $69,900 OBO thanks for your interest!
I have a few other cars for sale, most notably a believed to be 1 of 1 1971 Charger SE 440 factory AC FC7 Plum Crazy Purple car, a lot of options and a rare 1960 "Fuelie" Corvette San Francisco CA car its whole life and all numbers matching. I'm a collector not a dealer but I do have a couple strong contacts for collector car financing and I've assisted in the past to get a deal done, you'd be surprised on the rates and the 7-8 year terms for low monthly payments with 10-15% down...Something to consider if you're worried about coming out of pocket in all cash!
