Just removed from a 25+ year estate collection.
Engine: Engine bay is Clean. (see photos)
This car was part of a large collection in an estate. The information we have is ...
Engine Appears to be the ORIGINAL 383 Topped with a VERY RARE 440 SIX PACK Original Edlebrock Manifold with the Holley Carbs. This appears to be an Original period correct setup. Not sure if they ever came on the 383 or not but it is avaluablesetup none the less!Engine purrs smooth and carbs are running great!Aside from that it is important to note that this car has been in storage for over 25+ years and will require being gone over to be 100% road worthy.Although it starts up and runs smooth currently.Tires are in need of replacement as they are dried up with flat spots from sitting but all hold air.
Interior:
1. Seats are in very good condition (see photos) Only one seam separation on drivers seat bottom.2. Dash and all gauges look great.3. Lights and gauges work.4. Carpet is in good condition. Trunk LOOKS Good inside.(see photos)Basically Original interior in car is Very good condition. Well preserved.
Exterior:
-This Car has been Repainted many years ago in the Factory White Paint & is still in good shape. Buyer should expect some blemishes here and there on paint and body because of the age of car and sitting in storage/collection but overall very nice. The car appeared to have the typical mopar rust and has had repairs to the lower rear quarters/ fenders and more. Still shows well and is in Great Driver Condition (see photos). Underneath has some rust but the floors, runk etc. are in good shape. Appears to have been spray under coated many years ago and that is pealing off in various areas. Looks like it was a high gloss bedliner type spray. It has helped keep the car from completely rusting out but could use scrapped off in the loose areas and re-sprayed with fresh undercoating. That would do it wonders!
Chrome on Front and Rear Bumpers is in good driver condition. Front bumper has slight bend from someone trying to pull it by bumper but otherwise nice shape.
TOP:
Convertible top is in very good condition. Needs Nothing. Back window still clear too! Power top operates just as it should from factory switch on dash.
RecentMaintenanceCompleted...-New Brakes lines-Clean tank and fresh Gas-Battery-Fully detailed car-Oil Change
NOTE:Unfortunatelysomeone has Stolen the Original 440 Six Pack Orange Oval Air Cleaner off the Car. Apparently they are very valuable. I would have liked to have kept that with the car to sell since it has the Original period Carbs etc. but it is now gone due to theft. Sorry
SUMMARY… A GREAT Driver Car ready for someone to tinker with it.
