1968 Plymouth Barracuda Hemi Super Stock clone

This is a 1968 Barracuda B029M Super Stock hemi clone. It was a 318 car originally, but now it has a 1966 rebuilt 426 hemi with a factory Chrysler dual quad cross ram intake with two original 1968 hemi Super Stock Holley carbs (R4235 & R4236). If you know hemi's, you know how rare the intake and carburetors are. The engine along with the intake and carbs have been with this Cuda since 1989 and it has hardly been driven. The engine is .30 over, but was freshened up this year. The cylinders were honed and new rings and bearings were installed. The heads were magnafluxed with no issues. The carbs were rebuilt. The rotating assembly in this hemi was lightened up back in 1989 like a Super Stock car. This engine will rev like a 340, but pull like a hemi. The Cuda also has a big bolt disc brake assembly up front, a freshened up 727 tranny with a manual valve body and an 8 3/4 rear with 4.56 posi gears. It also has pull up windows and lightweight A-100 seats and fiberglass front fenders like an original Super Stock car. We also believe the doors may have been acid dipped or lightened. This Cuda runs and drives excellent and recently has new Cragar wheels and an alignment. The body and frame are excellent. A few bubbles here and there and a small rot hole on each rocker, but the paint is nearly 30 years old and still looks good. Believe me, this car is the star of every car show it goes to. There is nothing prettier than a cross ram on a hemi. There is a lot of money in this car. The intake and carbs alone are priceless. If you are looking for something different this may be the Cuda for you. The car is being sold with a transferable registration and a dealer bill of sale which is good in every state.
