1966 Plymouth Other

up for auction is my 1966 belvedere 1 post sedan 426 hemi clone!!production figures are 1964 total post sedans in 1966. 136 came with the 426 hemi engine 57 automatics 79 4 speeds. again mine is a CLONE!! due to their spartan appearance and rigid post design these were naturals on the drag strips and was not treated kindly. i would say few survived. this one came from ft worth texas . i found an old registration dating back to 1970 in the name of a lady named irene .the car appears to have had garage storage do to the good condition when i purchased it.i have owned the car 14 year, thats when the build started.by march of 2005 the car was getting out of the paint shop . in june of 2005 i took it to a car show of 600 cars and won best of show i repeated that again in june 2007 and winning 40 awards over the 12 years last one being on september 2016. the car still shows good i drove to the mopar national a few weeks ago and put it in the car coral just to feel it out.. look at the photos as they are a big part of the description.below is a detailed list. drive train has less than 2000 miles she is a runner i have owned over 100 cars by far this is the best one.we have 5 other hot rods, time for some life change, retirement is around the corner ENGINE-426 hemi mopar performance crate engine, added a comp cam hydraulic camshaft 537 517 292 292, hv oil pump, milidon oil pump shaft engine is powerful and accelerates very goo, carries 60 lbs oil pressure hot idling in gear FUEL -holly 950 double pumpe, hv mechanical pump TRANSMISSION - 727 torqueflite, chettah reverse manual valve bod, tci 3500 stall, mp deep pan. shits firm with no hesitatio, converter flashes good COOLING-.4 core radiator. got tested waiting in line at the mopar nats for an hour never over 20, as did everyone REAR END -dts 4.10 gear with traction lock, 35 spline axles, again the rear end was new less than 2000 miles BRAKES - manual disc front dual piston calipers, 11 inch drums rear suspension-front rebuil, rear mp super stock springs, pinion snubbe, bolt in frame ties with driveshaft loop mounted to frame ties not the floor pans exhaust- hooker super comp .rusty but do not leak, coating pealing off. flowmaster 3 inch 2 chamber BODY-solid texas car, no rust, does not have it, never did.rust free factory floor pans and trunk floor. all factory pinch welds, body side mouldings were removed and mounting holes welded closed.passenger side quarter panel had an 8 inch crease that was straighten . under body was stripped and blasted. dp primed and painted the same color as the body, the paint is very good i would give it a 8 out of 10. ppg base clear in original color dd1 crystal blue metallic . aar glass hood and a jim kramer scoop INTERIOR-legendary seat covers nos inserts.carpet.headliner package tray was replaced .original door panels, arm rest, sunvisors in good condition weatherstrips are original as are the windshield and back glass rubbers they are soft and pliable.they have not been removed. like i mentioned before looked like it was garage kept . the nos parts are as follows grille, lh headlight bezel, park light lens,lh tail light lens. front an rear bumpers are rechrome with no pits or peeling chrome just a few faint scratches. ISSUES!!! headers are rusty with coating peeling off!! do not leak, drivers door lock clip must have fell off in bottom of door as key turns free. rear tires have small dry cracks. front look good but the tires are 12 years old i put the tires and wheels on when it came out of the pant shop.windshield has faint wiper marks but is original glass and actually gives it some patina I HAVE PUT A VERY MODEST RESERVE ON THE CAR .WITH THAT BEING SAID THE CAR IS SOLD AS IS 500.00 non refundable deposit within 24 hours after auction closes to secure the sale PLEASE DO NOT BID IF YOU CANNOT PAY!!!!THIS IS A BUSINESS TRANSACTIO, DO NOT BID IF YOU HAVE ZERO FEED BACK OR NON PAYMENT HISTORY the photos of the seat is the sun shining on them. they are not faded. just a reflection. they still look like new .the old girl has always been garage kept and only in the rain 2 times in the time i have owned her
