Description:

1956 Plymouth Other

Check out this RARE FIND!! It's a 1956 Plymouth Sport Suburban that is all original. These cars were well equipped for its time. This car looks to retain it's original yellow and white two tone paint and getting that great Patina look. The body is 95% rust free I would say and it's surface. The interior is also yellow and white and is in good condition but by no means perfect as you can tell in pics. The windshield does have a crack in it as does the passenger side window. Rest of the glass looks good. All the trim and both bumpers appear to be the original ones. The gauges don't work at this time. It is powered by a 277 Cubic Inch 200 HP V8 Hy-Fire Engine. The transmission it a 2 speed push button power flight. The engine and transmission runs and shifts out good. The back window comes up like it should and the tailgate lets down as it should. The spare tire area under the wood is really solid as is the tailgate bottom lip. Most of time these area's are bad to rust but not this one. The underside is pretty solid with one place on the passenger side floor pan that has some rust. ( See last pic ) Not bad for an un restored car. There is ALOT OF THE ORIGINAL BROCHURES with this car that tells the specs of the engine and giving alot of good info about the car from back in 1956. Very interested material. Also has the original service manual. Cars like this don't come around often. This is a really neat piece of Mopar history. I have alot more pics of this vehicle if anyone wants to see more just let me know and will take pics of anything you want me too. Just ask. It is really a cool ride. This Plymouth is also For Sale locally and on other sites so auction could end early. It is being sold AS IS with no warranty given or implied in anyway. Pre Sale inspections are always welcomed and encouraged BEFORE END OF AUCTION so you will know exactly what you are buying. I have tried to describe best I can but may have missed or over looked something so please ask any questions you may have. If you bid and meet reserve and are the high bidder at end of auction then you have bought it. No time for games. Thanks for looking.
