1977 Plymouth Fury Gran Fury Brougham Police

1977 Gran Fury. Ex North Carolina Highway Patrol. 1 of 575, one year only ordered withfull Police package andthe Brougham trim. VIN:PH41U7Dxxxxxx

Purchased the car as a roller (professional body and paint was completed), and I finished it to its restored condition. The Fury has documentation from NCSHP and the build sheet as well as many receipts and a copy of the original ebay auction the original owner purchased it thru.

Its very clear from the pictures the car was never a rotbox or rust bucket, this is one of the nicest southern cars I have seen. The chrome and stainless are excellent, the interior is excellent with no rips or tears, dash pad is mint, all bulbs and gauges are excellent. The floors, doors, trunk and extensions, firewall and frame work are all EXCELLENT. Original colors were two tone black and silver, previous owner was restoring it as a NYSP car.The new ownercan finish as NY or make it your own (please don't make a Bluesmobile out of it...its got to much historic provenance and value), I planned on taking it back to original NCHP but haveno time and lost my garage so the car needs a new home, I have no where to work on it :-(.

I have run the car for a few weeks now and its a very nice running and driving car, its a fresh restoration so im sure there are nitpick items to complete(there always are), I have installed the alternating headlamps, grill lamps and rear deck lamps with a temporary controller (Per ebay rules they are un-connected).

Details: Numbers matching 440 police engine and trans (both rebuilt), 9 1/4 rear end, new tires, new car, new fuel tank, new fuel lines, new brakes, new brake lines, recored original HD radiator, rebuilt suspension and new sway bar bushings, HD Front and rear sway bars, HD Pwr Brakes and HD cooling, Pwr steering with cooler, engine oil cooler, transmission cooler, Pwr windows and manual locks. Refurbished wheel covers, chrome and stainless are great, body fit and finish are excellent, interior is outstanding! I installed a new period correct Mopar battery and have the original ThermoGard cover for it. Left / right spotlight re-inforcement, police wiring package, Aux interior headliner light. I upgraded the car from LeanBurn to electronic ignition (concealed in LeanBurn box) and it idles/runs excellent. I refurbished all the electrical wiring and connections including the A/C shut off circuit found in most police package cars.New Door seals, new trunk seal, new trunk and hood bumpers, new radiator hoses, new heater hoses withMopar part numbers,Im sure Im forgetting a lot of things I put into the car that are new new new or refurbished. Car has a clear NY title so no issues there.

There are some things to do:

1) Rebleed or adjust the rear brakes...not to my liking,, I think they should be better

2) Finish buffing the roof and a couple spots low on the door

3) Front end alignment (new suspension) and install the rubberfender aprons.

That's all I know of. This is a very nice restored actual police package car which are becoming very very hard to find, being one of approx. 575 (and how many are left?)makes it that much rarer.

I have far more pictures than ebay allows so I posted a video/slideshow to my VIMEO account. Type "Furywithmusic" into the search box to watch. If you have any questions please ask and I will try to answer to the best of my ability. If you would like pictures of a certain area please ask and if ebay allows I will message them to you, I have nothing to hide. If you would like to see the car or havearepresentativein the area I will make it available with appropriate notice.

The Fury is For Sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction at any time.Financing of classic cars is available thru J.J. Best Banc and Co.

Pick up / Delivery / Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.
