Spare Tire Summary: Body is straight. All body #s match VIN (Radiator support and trunk rim). Re-painted in 1980. Today, the clear coat is oxidized and has minor rust on door corners. Trunk pan badly rusted, New “Year One” replacement pan comes with car.
Original engine was replaced with a 1970 383 cu in engine from a Barracuda, which wasbored .030 over and balanced, w/a mild lope Crane cam, installed 1979. Transmission bearings replaced same time. Transmission #s match VIN. Runswell.
The rear differentialis a3:23Sure Grip (equivalent of aPosi-Track). Car will "light em up"andcruiseon the highway at barely above an idle at 65 mph in 4th gear. You can expect to get as good as 17 mpg while driving this car on thefreeway at 65-70 mph! Thye lucky buyer getsan extra 4sp. transmission and instrument cluster with the car.
The seats are cracked at stitching, stitching splitting on headliner but all there, i.e. support rods, trim, all present. All seatbelts and shoulder harnesses good condition. Dash and instrument panel original and good condition. Side and door panels excellent. Console good condition
This car wasprincipletransportationfrom 1977 to 1984 and then became a secondary and only casually used. Been garaged most of the time since 1984.
The front grille, chrome window trim is excellent., front bumper like new, rear bumper little dull.
