The Number stamped in the front Radiator Support "matches" the number stamped on the Drivers side Trunk Frame. The 440 ciengine in this Car is "not" the original Block that came with the Car, buthaswhat appears to be a factory replacement Block (castingdate of Oct. 1970).There isnothing, (no numbers),stamped on the engine pad near the Distributor. The Car was built in September of 1969. The "906" Heads appear to be original to the Car with a build date of 08-69. I was told by the Restorer, from whom I purchased the Car, that the Block is fitted with the original heavy duty 6-pak Rods and internals.

This Carcame from the Factory withall the "best" performance Toys that Ma Mopar had to offer in 1970....440ci Big Block with 3x2 carburation; Heavy Duty Hemi 4-speed Transmission; Hurst Pistol Grip Shifter; Dana 60 Sure Grip Trac-Pac Rear; (6 leafs on one side - 7 leafs on the other side); the Air Grabber Hood (N96) which is 100% functional, and heavy duty Hemi K-Frame and Hemi Front Suspension which included heavier Torsion Bars; Heavy Duty Shocks,(4) new Chrome, Magnum 500 Wheels;and more. This Car could be a Barrett-Jackson top ten Car with a little attention to the Paint. The Car looks good as is, sounds great, and runs great and draws crowds of admirers andattention wherever it goes; The paint, only a little over ayear old, however, was never "finish wet sanded" andshould be wet-sanded andbuffed to reallyfinish the Car. I have received several compliments on the Car at Cruises just the way it is, butthere are some small imperfections in the paint that most could be addressed with a final 1500 gritwet sandingand buff job. The Car needs nothing else. I planned to have that done this Summer but have decided to look for a 1970 Cuda or Challenger which is the only reason I'm selling this Car.

TRADE INFO: I would consider trading for the right 1970-71 Cuda with 4-speed (340 ci or big block); or 1970 Dodge Challenger with 4-speed (340 or big block), Looking for a 70 AAR Cuda or 70 T/A Challenger but all 4-speed 1970 Challengerand 4-speed 1970 &71 (Cuda) E Bodies in similar conditionconsidered.

I havemany more pictures of the Road Runner during various stages of disassembly and restoration than will fit here.If you'd like to see more photos, please send me your e-mail address with your request, or contact me at ss69camaro350 at Comcast dot net.
