Description:

1973 Plymouth Duster

Nice 1973 Duster with Slant 6 with Rebuilt Automatic/ Power steering and a/c (not working). No accidents and very clean floors and body. Interior very nice with some wear on drivers door panel from window crank and broken upper plastic door trim. Bottom of doors, trunk lid, hood and floors all rust free. Gaps are nice!
Small rust through bottom of spare tire area less than a few inches. Rust right lower rear quarter which I have a new patch panel for and is easy patch when going to paint.
I have replaced the following parts recently to make it a good driver.
NEW:
New idler arm,Rebuilt carb 8/01/2016,Rebuilt transmission and ujoints installed 5/8/2016,NEW Radiator, new upper and lower hoses, thermostat, radiator cap, coolant,Heater core,Spark plugs, tube seals, valve adjustment, valve cover gasket,Wiper pivots, wiper blades,All rubber brake hoses,Brake master cylinder and booster, brake fluid, rear wheel cylinders, rear brake shoes,3.5" kicker speakers in dash, 6x9 Kicker rear deck.Oil pressure switch, oil and filter change, air filter,New muffler, fuel sending unit - gauge still reading below full when full,New Monroe shocks.
Has had new steering box, tie rods past repairs.CD player, 17" aluminum rims with good tires. Starts right up and drives good.
These cars are only going up in value and if you want a v8 its an easy conversion. No smog needed so maybe a Hemi is in your future. May trade for another classic car foreign or domestic for same value or cash and trade.
Check around and you will not find a better deal with all the recent and past work that has been done for you. Dont buy a 2500 rust bucket with no service done to it then spend another 5k just so you can drive it safe.
I wouldsuggest new rear leaf springs. Gas gauge or voltage rectifier may need replaced as after filling up so full but reads low after using a few gallons. I have installed new sender already. 17" wheels rub fenders if turning and hitting dip. Can raise up but I lowered to sit level due to rear spring sagging.
