Description:

1972 Plymouth Road Runner Roadrunner

Up for auction
Amazing, Rare 1972 Plymouth Roadrunner B5 Blue (real RM23 car) not a Satellite. These cars were produced in very low numbers, I believe like 7700 in 1972, the front grille is a one year only grille and is extremely hard to find and one of the best Mopar front ends ever produced!
Car was originally from Texas, moved here in the 90's I bought it as a stalled project and finished the car.
Original numbers matching 400 big block, 727 trans, 8 3/4 (391) posiThe 400 was rebuilt to factory specs and does have the Vin. stamped on the block as well as the core support and trunk lip. The transmission was rebuilt with heavy duty clutches and all new bearings in the rearend.
Completely Rotisserie restored about 4 years ago, nothing left untouched. Body and paint was done professionally and looks incredible!!!
The bottom looks as good as the top, underside painted Base/Clear
Car is solid #2 car and it has won first at nearly every car show I've taken it to.
Front to back everything is either new or rebuilt (EVERYTHING)
Air Grabber hood looks amazing, however will still need under hood parts to make it operational. Air coming through the grille does force the scoop open as it is now. A/C car; I have some of the parts to put the A/C back on the car, but not everything. The Am radio does not work.
If the car does not sell in this auction, I may consider a trade for a 1970/71 Dodge Challenger or 1970-72 Cuda in any condition (can be in boxes) or a partial trade on a 1968-73 Camaro/Nova??Make no mistake this is aTurn Key show car and will look better than 90% of the cars at a local car show. Too many details to list call for more information. Reserve is below the acual value of the car and the cost to build. Personal inspection is HIGHLY recomended!!! Car is for sale locally and may be ended at any point.
